My summary of Safety Rules for Optimist Yachting

Before you go out on the water you have to check that the  3 buoyancy tank bungs are screwed in place so that if the boat capsizes it won’t sink. the mast clip must be secured with figure of A 8 knots needing to be tied to the spirit  rope. mainsheet rope and the kicker rope optimist yacht is safe and the rudder is clipped in to the back of the Optimist Yacht

Make sure that you have fitted your life jacket  properly and then get your guardian or parent has made sure that it fits just to be really sure that it fits you

Sometimes when the yacht is tiping you just need to move a little in the yacht so it doesn't tip  but if you do tip you just swim to the yacht and and use the centerboard to flip the yacht then sail the yacht to the shore and tip the water.

I feel a little nerves going on stage but when i get in to it I fell fine I just forget about the people and every one else.In the haka I was as lard as could sing and dot he haka. We just got to the beach. Our coach said you have to run down the beach and then run back.Then run in the sea and around the boy and swim back.

then we all start to run back down the beach.I was doing sort of good but when it came to the swimming I past was awesome I past everybody then i body surfed in.Which cone served my energy so I could keep on running.I came first that just first and that was a relief.
